| Tournament Rules for 2008
- Team captain will receive points toward the Angler of the Year
- Five fish limit per boat
- 14 inch size limit on all fish largemouth and smallmouth bass.
- Artificial bait only
- NO alcoholic beverage allowed during tournament hours, or at the weigh-in
- There will be a 1 lb. penalty for dead fish
- 1 lb. penalty will not apply toward big bass
- A courtesy measurement will be allowed prior to the weigh-in if an angler wishes a courtesy bump, he may ask another participant in the tournament for it. Courtesy bumps will not be done at the weigh-in scales. If a participant brings a short fish into the scales, there will be a 1 lb. penalty deducted from the participants total weight.
- Participants need to be at the ramp at the designated time to finish the tournament. There will be a 1 lb. per minute penalty for late participants. After 5 minutes the angler will be disqualified.
- NO more than 5 fish will be allowed in your live well at any time, culling must be done before returning to the ramp, at the end of the tournament.
- The lake is off limits for fishing on the day of the tournament
- You must be a lot owner or be with a lot owner to be able to fish the tournaments
- You don’t need to be a member of the anglers club to fish
- Boats must have a live well, either built into the boat or portable live wells must have some type of pump or circulator to keep fish alive. Prior to boat launch the Tournament Director will check live wells.
- Each boat will have on board life preservers for each participant, Random checks may be made at the beginning of the tournament
- Entry fees will be $30 per boat* with (2) fisherman in the boat and $20 per boat with a single person in the boat, this also includes the Big Bass pot. * Mid NIght Madness is $40 per boat or $25 for single.
CLASSIC RULES
- If you fish 5 or more tournaments you get a free entry into the Classic. Otherwise it’s a $40 buy in. Big Bass Pot is extra.
You will be allowed to drop 2 tournaments during the year to qualify for the Angler of the Year honors |
